Oh hi, my name is Matthew Kulp. I’m a designer, entrepreneur and cofounder of Mountain Lab, Unit and Chorus. I’ve worked with Google ATAP, IFTTT, and NEA.

I specialize in social apps. In fact, I'm the co-creator of quite a few of them: Shortwave, Hashtag, Movie Night and Chorus.

I thrive in medium-sized teams that can act with a lot of autonomy. I like doing thorough research and then taking big risks.

My Story

I got into tech through a passion for politics; designing campaign tools for Obama at a startup called National Field. Before all of that, I got a BFA in Furniture Design from RISD and worked in international studios producing furniture for brands like Herman Miller, Established & Sons, Mattiazzi.

I love working on teams with ambitious missions and amazing technology.
